Considering that yours probably used to belong to Tony Banks, I'd say
$3,000.00

Remember, if you decide to overhaul it, put whatever you no longer need on
eBay. Someone will likely buy it.

Your response wasn't out of line, Gino. If I'd been serious in my
suggestion, I'd have been playing a bit of an asshole.

Gino, just so you don't get the wrong impression, I'm joking. Mojo,
followed closely by a cork-sniffing usage of "Tone Wood" get my eyes rolling
quicker than just about anything when it comes to electric guitar discussion.

Leather you say, really interesting

I do understand the mojo thing John, but I have to have the smallest
shred of empirical data to make me feel like I am not getting over. I feel bad
selling junk.

I buy old guitars and tell myself that the oil and sweat gives it life,
that's almost complete bullshit and if i could get close to that It would be
ok.

I think I am just going to give them away as souveniers.

The mojo lives in those old pots, Gino. Highly sought after.

I know some old Mellotron parts can be rebuilt. Replcing rubber and
glueing m=new pads, even relapping heads. but some other parts vex me, I don't
get it.
I am putting new pots on an EMS VCS3 and I am going to toss the old ones
out. I have offered money for them but I can't get a why answer that makes
any sense.
Given there is money on offer, why I give a shit is a good question.

Anybody ? Fritz ?.....

New pinch rollers make a world of difference and they're easy to replace.
I don't envy you changing the felt and resetting the pad arms though. Did
you get the felt from Streetly or from a local source?
