I didn't in the end. Having now finished it, even if I did have a higher res version, it would mean a hell of a lot of work re-timing it all over again, remixing etc. pretty pleased with the final result actually. Shame I'm not able to let the big wide world hear it.

Did you try emailing the guy who posted the isolated vocal to see if he 
has a higher res version?
