I saw the Analogue Haven ad for the EFY-6 and have been wondering about it myself. It's certainly cheaper than the FY-6, but I don't know anything about it. It sure sounds good in this video, though: Wattson Classic Electronics EFY-6 Fuzz
I don't use compressors, so I can't give you a recommendation. But if I did, I would follow Gino's recommendations.
