Sounds like the "mixing" situation in the Chamberlin M's - there are 2
channels so you can "mix" if you want - or just operate the 2 channels as a
pan between right and left.

Hi Mark-

I agree. Due to mixing, the 6-Track format would
be a bear for selecting the right voices. Maybe all
strings or all brass would be a direction to go.

But, it may even get more bizzare(slap me if I'm
wrong on this). If the track widths are correct, and
you have the selector centered on a voice, you should
have a little sound from each side voice. Using your
selections as an example; center on Flute, and you
would hear a little Split Choir and M300A violins in
the mix. What a party!!
