I've just today received my copy of Nick Awde's book 'Mellotron: The Machine and the Musicians that Revolutionsied Rock'. It's enormously thick - about 600 pages - and features a large number of interviews with all the usual suspects. It as three notable ommisions (by the author's own admission), being Robert Moog (dead), Rick Wakeman (busy) and Robert Fripp (on being Fripp). I'm still ploughing through it. So far it's an interesting read, even if the author felt the need to interview Tony Banks and Mike Pinder. :-) Mike
