According to the Dave Kean M400 Fix-it Book, the tone pot (listed as R4) is a 25k Log, not audio taper. The volume pot (R1) is listed as 10k Log. That's what it says... johnbarrick log(arithmic) and audio taper are the same thing. I was able to find original (in the box and unused) 10k, 15k and 25k pots on line and I bought a bunch of them. The shafts need to be cut to 1". Only the 50k pitch pot is linear. Both Streetly and Markus offer quality replacements if needed as well. I have substituted a 15k pot for volume with no problems whatsoever. Frank **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
