I saw this some time back. I doubt that anyone that wants a real Mellotron sound would find this an acceptable substitute, and guitar wise, I'm sure you can do some pretty neat things with it. My next guitar pedal is going to be a Super Fuzz clone, so this isn't even on my horizon yet.

I recommend the Wattson FY-6 Classic Fuzz. I have one of the originals that was labeled "Superfuzz". It looks and sounds exactly like my old bluish-grey Univox. I've tried some other Superfuzz clones and, to me, they didn't make the grade.

Thanks, Bernie! I've been looking around and have pretty much set myself on the Super Fuzz clone from build your own clone, as I've seen multiple demos where it captures a number of the different sounds I'm after. I'll try to check it out.
