Hi Peter,
I checked the blue ceramic capacitors (the round flat ones) and the two associated with the mains voltage are rated to 400v and the third one is on the output side of the transformer (low voltage so its status does not change regardless of mains input voltage.
The only thing I don't know the spec's of is the little tiny transformer on that board and I didn't check where its connected to, but I';m guessing that its low voltage too, it hasn't got hot or shown any signs of distress yet after 2 days so I think its happy, I think in the worst case the fuse will blow if there is a problem mains voltage side of the large transformer and low voltage side nothing should have changed at all.

Once again thanks for taking the first steps and giving me a heads up on what to do!
