It's not the edited patch. i can edit/play patche 00 after
initialization.  If i don't edit the patch and just play, then enter
in patch select 01 then i lose sound and have to reboot. In other
words i only have one patch after initialization which is 00.  I cna't
move to another patch.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
