Basically ive decided that the Device Panels in Cubase are next to useless b/c not only do they lag but they dont even support reading current patch settings from an external hardware device... I think i'll just go with MidiQuestXL for my software editing. However, Im still wondering about the slow reaction time of the Matrix to drastic changes in MIDI CC values... although the Device Panels supposedly lag i've mapped knobs on my Nord Modular to control parameters on the Matrix and there still seems to be an internal lag with my Maxtix. Slow changes are smooth but quick turns of the knob cause lag probelms. Am i alone on this or is this a common issue with all Matrix-1000's? thanks.
