OBERHEIM SYNTH

Ok hard-core synth builders out there...

I have an OB-X that uses CA3080 VCA's like they were going out of 
style, which unfortunately turned out to be the case.  I need a 
replacement CA3080 for a mod I want to do (make the noise level 
programmable/adjustable if you are interested) and I am seeking an 
alternative VCA that will work like a CA3080, but that is more easily 
available.  The VCA does not need to be pin compatible with a CA3080 
(but it would be nice).

Any suggestions for a replacement/alternative part?  If so, where do I 
buy it? I only need 1 or so VCA, not 50 like I see on e-bay. Anyone 
have some 3080's for sale? 

I didn't have much luck on Mouser, Digikey had some possible parts but 
they were non-stock and about $20 per chip.
