Hello, and a question or two

2006-03-19 by Rick Massey

Greetings, I'm new to this group, though not new to Oberheim gear.

In 1993 I sold my Roland MKS-50 and bought a Matrix 6r. Never regretted it.
Later in 1997 I picked up a Matrix 1000, and then I got an OB3 the next
year.

Now, for the fun part. I've never been able to find a manual for the 6r,
having to suffice with a Matrix 6 manual, which I now cannot use, as I lost
my sight back in 2003. I'm interested in using some of the knobs on my
M-Audio Radium to make some changes to sounds via CC messages, so I'm
looking for both a digital copy of the manual and a good editor that will
work with a screen reader. I have a copy of Obiex and a DOS version of my
screen reader software as well as a MPU-401 compatible interface if that is
the route I must go, but I'd prefer to not have to go that route if
possible.

Any good advice on where to look for such things?
