i doubt if the Matrix 1000 has a switch mode psu, but it could have a multitap transformer. Changing this will involve either moving wires attached to the transformer or moving some jumpers on the PSU. If you do this you will need to change the fuse to half the value as current is proportional to supply voltage, as an example if it is set up for 120V and a 4amp fuse is fitted, for 240V a 2 amp fuse should be fitted. I can help if you send me an image of the insides Ian -----Original Message----- From: oberheim@yahoogroups.com [mailto:oberheim@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of cristoforcolombo Sent: 10 August 2010 18:17 To: oberheim@yahoogroups.com Subject: [oberheim] It's possibile to switch/hack a 120 v. Matrix 6 psu to 240? Hi there: I own a Matrix 1000 and I just bought a Matrix 6 keyb. 120 volts. I'm guessin' It's possibile to switch/hack or something the Matrix 6 own psu, without using a 240/120 transformer. Thanks
