Matrix 1000 weirdness

2012-09-18 by robhukin

Hi All,

I have a Matrix 1000 which plays different (or variations of) patches above and below a particular key. This happens in most, if not all patches and the 'split' key is not always the same. It also happens in edited patches - above the 'split' seems to be the one that corresponds most to what I set in the editor. All voices sound the same above and below the 'split'.

There are other strange things going on with this Matrix, such as the pulse width range only being 0 - 4, but the 'split' one is confusing me the most. Any ideas...?

What's the memory back-up battery voltage measuring?

Hi,

I have somewhat similar problem. Below certain and not always the same key my Matrix 1000 generates tones of significantly lower volume. Could be they are also different sounding, but it's hard to tell.
Did you have success with battery test?
