Hi all, Does anyone have a working template for sending sysex commands to the 1000 from a Novation Remote SL mk2? I checked on the Novation yahoo group and it's mentioned in older posts, but no one has uploaded a file to the group. Cheers, Davros

I have not tested these files! I only have a Remote 25 LE. I found these on the web. They appear to be correct for the M1000 and M6. The larger .blk (same as .syx files) will load the entire SL memory. Make sure you have a backup of your memory. If either of these works properly please upload them to both groups... I have to go shovel out from this nor'easter that dumped all this white stuff on us. Fran

I tried to contact Fetz. I'm not sure his email is still valid??? I did change a copy of the V1.1.1 firmware to his recommendation for the Envelope 1 Sustain Level midi bug. I saved it as V1.1.1a since it is a very small change. For those who haven't seen his bugfix: Change address 5E48h from 38h to 2Dh to fix the problem. All values are in hex. You will need to burn a new 27C256 eprom and you should be good to go. The updated firmware by Fetz he has labeled V 1.1.3. The changes in speed were for the VCF under sysex control. There is a 50hz bus speed in the handler for midi and it only looks for changes to wake it from idle every 20ms. This is a hardware/firmware limitation and in todays world of USB midi with faster PC's it creates a noticeable lag. Here's to hoping he answers, Fran
