Matrix 6R eprom upgrade

Matrix 6R eprom upgrade

2013-04-28 by rayo722

Hello

Is it possible to upgrade the eprom firmware of a Matrix 6R? I wish to fix the slow response to real time sysex commands. I heard that it can be done with the Matrix 10000.

Thanks to all

No, it really can't be done. Its a CPU matter, not an EPROM matter.

There were some bugs fixed in an OS release. Still worth having the most
recent. As noted, it won't make the CPU any faster.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
