Looking for OB-X EPROM images

Looking for OB-X EPROM images

2013-10-28 by <pjwhite@...>

Does anyone know where I can get images for OBX-HA0, -HB1, and -HA2 ? These are for the older top control board.

If you have one of these machines and would be willing to lend me your EPROMs for a day, I can copy them myself and get them back to you right away.

Where are you located?

One weird thing I've been seeing lately is a really high failure rate of TL074s and 84s... They seem OK but they have just enough offset to make things like tuning go bad. They have been in the OBX and OBXA... Very strange to me...

Got them, thanks! The old EPROMs were suffering bit rot. With the new code in place, things are starting to work right.

Thanks again,

Yeah, mine were out of whack as well. Replaced all the socketed ones... they're cheap! Solved a lot of minor but annoying imbalance issues.
