DSX COPYING VOICE to CV (page 13) NOT WORKING AS DESCRIBED

Anybody try this?
Trying to copy a sequence from a track to convert it from "Voice" to "CV"… strangely the prompts as listed in the manual are not the same.
Anybody have any insight?
