Who to Repair a Matrix-12

Who to Repair a Matrix-12

2004-12-12 by circlingkailas2002

Hi everyone - I am new to this group because I love my Matrix12 and
am desperately trying to find someone to repair it. Many of the
people on the web who say they repair Matrix12/Xpander do not
respond to emails - either business is good or they have given up!

Basically, oscillators/filters/VCA 1-6 all fail the autotune
function, suggesting a major problem. If anyone knows of a good and
reliable shop that can check out a Matrix12, I would be forever
grateful.

Ted

Wow! I have never met a M12 owner!!

I have an Xpndr and have taken it to a shop in Tampa but the last time
I was there with a Matrix6R, he had turned flakey. Maybe he is ok
now.. He was pretty good at one time and fixed my Oby stuff from the
early 80's.

Ted,

I had mine checked out and repaired by Kurt Stewart at Kurt's Amps &
Keyboards in Prescott Valley, Arizona. http://www.kurtsamps.com

He did a great job on it. My problem was similar to yours except it
was voices 7-12.
