obxa on ebay-parts only worth trying to fix up?

obxa on ebay-parts only worth trying to fix up?

2008-03-10 by lawjcrg

All: I have my eye on a used obxa on ebay that is being sold in non-
working order, as is. My question is how difficult is it to find
parts for these keyboards? I'm a little surprised it's already bid up
over $1000 but I have a good keyboard technician and if parts can be
found I'm sure he can fix it. Any comments and thoughts would be
appreciated. Thanks.

It's all a matter of timing isn't it! I had an OBXa and the DSX
Sequencer that I gave away........ about 10 years ago. Guess it would
be worth a bunch now. :(

I had a lot of trouble with it. It was VERY unstable and it had mood
swings......... However, I did some pretty good work with it but it
was always a challenge.

FWIW

If I was you, I'd go for an OB8 if I could find one.
