Yes; desolder the LED, then it & the switch cap will come off, then the switch itself can be desoldered & removed. Take care in handling the switch caps -- once the plastic breaks, they're difficult to repair (& impossible to replace, as far as I know). I've obtained suitable replacement tact switches from Mouser Electronics & Jameco -- they're fairly standard.
