Has anyone got a list of the correct screw sizes for the P6? I've got one here that's missing almost all of the hardware and haven't got anything specific to go on. Thanks!

Can you tell me which screws you have missing or even some photos of where the holes are wouldn¹t go a miss! I have two complete P6 here in bits and I can easily measure and tell you what heads/thread types they have! That would be amazing. I'd greatly appreciate it. It's a pile of them! - The four top panel outer screws - The top panel 'inner' screws that fasten the PCBs - The underside top panel screws that fasten those same PCBs to the brackets - The bottom screws for the keyboard assembly - The two screws underneath for the bend wheels Heh - this poly is just a pile right now. Not quite in a bag but close :) The lower assembly PCBs are all in place though so at least those wood screws appear to all be there.

Nothing like a good project, eh?! Here are the gory details for future posterity... 1. The four top panel outer screws: M3x14 black, pan cross head machine screw with nylon washer. 2. The top panel 'inner' screws that fasten the PCBs: M2x5 black, pan cross head machine screw with nylon washer 3. The underside top panel screws that fasten those same PCBs to the brackets: M2x5 zinc cross head machine screw 4. The bottom screws for the keyboard assembly: M5x20 black, flanged pan cross head machine screw 5. The two screws underneath for the bend wheels: M3x50 black, pan cross head machine screw with nylon washer OE&E. All measurements courtesy of my wonky steel rule. Aaaahhh! Wooonderful. Huge thanks. This will be here for posterity! It's amazing how getting the right hardware for synths is actually a real pain (or maybe it's just me). And yes - this will be a project! I've gone through a few synth projects where their condition is just absolutely horrible. This is one of them for sure. I'll snap a pic of the KLM board too. The traces are truly brutal.

I know what you mean! I like to have all the right¹ bits fitted in mine and matching them can be a bit of an ordeal. The most difficult ones to find are the long wood screw types that hold the boards in. They are always missing! I just wish people would take more care. I have a E-mu Drumulator sitting here on the bench that looks like it has been at the bottom of the sea for a few years. What do people do with these things? Hi Andy, You seem to be off by one mm on some of the diameters. I haven't seen any M2 anywhere on the Polysix. All of the smaller ones are M3. Here are the ones on the exterior: M5x20 - (6) Keyboard M4x14 - (4) Top panel - 2 on each end M4x20 - (4) Across the bottom back of the panel M4x50 - (2) Pitch bend assembly M3x5 - (10) Top panel - hold the circuit boards with knobs up M3x5 - (3) jack panel M3x8 - (4) Power supply board - around the big Korg logo M3x5 - (4) Around the AC inlet M3x5 - (2) Holding the serial number plate. These are coarse thread screws, not machine screws. There are also two big ground lug bolts. I don't have any of those out at the moment so I don't know if they are M4 or M5. Any bolt will do as long as you have a nut for it. They are measured out to the extreme edges of the thread, not just the center bore. These are all black-oxide metric machine screws (bolts). I don't have the thread pitch here at the moment, but I can find it somewhere. They are all standard pitches. The M5 for the keyboard seem to be the only ones that have a "Standard" (American) size close enough to use. M5x20 can use 10-32x.75 which just happens to be the standard rack-mount bolts which you can find anywhere. M3 is common for the four bolts holding a CD/DVD drive in a computer, and for many remote-control vehicles, although the R/C hobby shops seem to have mostly hex-head, not phillips head, so you would need a 2mm hex key instead of a screwdriver.
