a funny thing happened on the way to...

2016-08-05 by jw_dewdney@yahoo.com

I was trying to get my KLM366 board tuned up - and in the middle of everything I managed to blow up my power supply (KLM 376 IIRC) . A clean blowout of the 2200µF filter cap. Took both fuses with it. So I ordered all new caps from Mouser and rebuilt it without incident. But NOW it looks like both PGM 3 and VERIFY lights are perpetually on. Apparently the blowout of the cap may have affected something downstream (on the KLM 367 board) ??

I promised Andy Jury who fixed up my replacement board for me that I wouldn't touch any adjustments on his board - so i thought I'd ask here before consulting him - just in case it may possibly be something else - or looks familiar to someone as a problem they've had (?)

thanks mucho

You didn't tell us if the synth basically works, except those two lights are stuck on,
or the synth doesn't work at all, and just those lights are on no matter what you do.

Those are of course very different, so we need to know which it is to help you.
