Hello group!

Hello group!

2016-08-30 by kniatm01@yahoo.com

I am new to this group and feel excited to be a part of this group where i can talk about polysix. I have a lot of questions which are primary focused to help me restore my old p6. I have already spent quite a bit of time on my new hobby and restoration is going well, however, i will be always looking toward new ways to improve things and find new mods which will hopefully keep this hobby alive for me well into my old age.

Welcome. I have learned a lot in the few weeks I've been here, and also am trying to restore a neglected P6. Good luck!

Thx, what challenges were you experiencing with yours if i may ask beside the obvious battery leak? Unbelivable how much minor work went into mine thus far
Cleaned keybed contacts, individual keys, pots, deoxed tak switches (helped some) and i had to drill tiny hole into each one and inject deoxit. (Will have to replace them later), replaced a kay and a button, soldered bad joint and battery and full cal&tuneup whatever i could understand from the service manual. That was the biggest challenge of all!
Mods: the post fx filter bypass, leds
Planed mods: red oak panels, vynyl overlay, more electronic mods :) replace that cord with standard one thats all for now
