They were both fine last time I used them but I'd want to power them up before giving you an everything works. The only trouble I had with the P2k was the floppy which I did replace. I still get read errors on some discs right when the unit is turned on but it seems to get better after it's been on for awhile. I'm in San Jose Ca.
