Sequential circuits samplers

I have finally spent some more time with this.  I picked up an old classic mac, and have 
been trying to get it working with the p2000 sound designer and my p2002.  Still no luck, 
I loaded OS 7.5 on the mac and have it going through my amt8(which I'm not sure if the 
drivers are right for this OS version as all I could find were OS 8-9 drivers)  I can get some 
parameters to edit,  but the sample dump and receive still do not work and it is alwys 
freezing.  Does anybody know if the p2002 has to be set up any particular way to get this 
to work properly?  

Also on a side note, a friend of mine has a serial midiman interface 1 in 1 out that was his 
dads like 15 years ago, but he has no drivers and his dad doesn't remember it needing any 
drivers. Anybody know anything about these interfaces?  I don't want to buy it if it won't 
work.
