Sequential circuits samplers

Hi all

My first post but I think it is a bit of a tricky issue. I am trying 
to setup up a Doepfer Pocketdial to control the filter, envelope and 
LFO. The reason behind this is simply to defeat the one parameter at a 
time limitation of the 2k. However this is where things got tricky. I 
am not a midi genius. I am used to using cc numbers when mapping 
controllers. However the 2k does not seems to respond to all the 
appropriate CC nos. For example cc7 works for volume but 74 does not 
seem to work for filter cutoff. A quick check of the manual shows vast 
chunks of hexadecimal stuff around parameters. All over my head really.

So I suppose the question is, how can I work out which CCs correlate 
to each parameter, avoiding complete trial and error of course. 

If this is something that we can work out, I would of course be more 
than happy to post the resultant map.
