The 3379 VCF/VCA is very sonically related to the 3372, which is found in the T8, 600 and VS.
Given the typical 2000/2 used pricing (around $US200), they are the cheapest way to get the Prophet sound.
It has a simple modulation scheme, but a great tone.
A 2000 and 2002 would get you an 8 voice configuration (extending Duncan\u2019s advice) for the price of a beat up 600
Learn how to edit from the panel as most software editors only run in OS8 or OS9 mode (and not always carbon infused 9.2 Classic mode)
The manual (another brilliant work by Stanley Junglieb, as usual) will be the only manual you will ever need to read on sampling (of any instrument).
