1. How to adjust the prophet 3000 to make him ready to receive "MIDI sample dump" ( SDS ) ? ( in the manual this is undefined ) >>>> It wasn't in the original OS, I don't think. Anyways, it's not straightforward at all. First, you have to record a blank sample long enough for what you want to dump. Then (and I think this is true anytime the sample is up in the editor, but it's definitely true right after you sample it), you can do an SDS dump to the P3K, and it will overwrite that sample. Then, just trim/loop the sample as desired. 2. For SCSI the OS 3.0 is recommended. How to get the file on a disk ( from PC ) - because the disk has to be formatted for the prophet ? ( I have OS 1.6A ) >>>>> you can get it here (though the website hasn't been updated in years)... http://www.geocities.com/Backstage/SunsetStrip/6241/sys300b.zip . You will need to use copyqm to write this (from a PC) to a floppy. 3. In the manual is the resonance listed as a possible destination for the modulation matrix. In my prophet 3000 the resonance is not available as a destination. Is this a bug or usual ? >>> No idea, sadly, it's been years since I've had a P3000. corley brigman intel corp. corley.brigman@...
