you need to use the /blind /bios option, and you may need to do it under a straight dos prompt (win98 command only will work). You may need to put all this on a usb stick or CD or something to make it work on a modern machine. The P3K disks were pickier than the dss-1 disk. the disk should be 1.6 megs though, the 200k one is probably missing something. corley brigman intel corp. corley.brigman@... -----Original Message----- From: prophet2000@yahoogroups.com [mailto:prophet2000@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of andreaskeffel Sent: Monday, September 28, 2009 5:45 PM To: prophet2000@yahoogroups.com Subject: [prophet2000] Re: Prophet 3000 : Midi sample dump & SCSI / OS3.0 how to ? Hello Corley, many thanks to You for the tip about SDS - it´s working ! Other Question : I had known the way via CopyQM, but i don´t know how to go this way to get the fitting result. I found 2 versions of OS3.0B. The first is a image-file ( CopyQM ) 200 KB size. The second is the file SYS300B.P3K 1610 KB size. With the first file and copyQM i tried over ten times to get a fitting disk. My prophet detects the system OS3.0B on the disk, loads shortly and displays then "There is a problem reading the system from this disk." Over this is blinking "system load error". Could you, or somebody other please help ? kind regards ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Links
