Hello, I haven't looked to deeply but I'm sure there must be a way to copy
the disk itself with a computer regardless of the format. as long as you are
copying the disk and not adding any headers to the destination disk. I may not
be using the P2000 for much longer as I'm planing on selling mine to the first
person to come up with the money I know, I do plan on picking up a 2002 in
time but right now it's not a priority.
I really urge anyone interested in finding a sure way to archive this
format to contact Garthe at Chicken system (makers of Translator) and speak out
about the addition of this sampler to their software. to anyone unfamilar with
translator it is a great and extreamly useful program for crossplatforming
samples and patches. Imagine taking a patch made on an akai and loading it into
the prophet and the env and filter settings, mapping all working as they should
or vice verse. I've talked to them about adding this sampler and it's a matter
of more demand for it. I'm in no way affiliated with chicken systems so don't
email me about adding it. but I think them supporting this sampler would make
a wave of use and support for this format of sampler. Peace, Nicholas

The disk copy thing has been discussed many times before.

Apparently it's simply not possible using PC hardware.

It sure would be nice to have full Translator support.
