Vintage Synth Repair

It depends on what the resistors are being used for in the power
supply, you could try them, I don't think you could hurt anything, but
some of the controls may act differently if they reference the voltages.
One thing you could try is buy a package of 42k and 10k resistors (you
should be able to get a package of 100 for a few dollars), then use an
ohm meter and check thier values, chances are you will find a few that
are exactly the value you need.
