Just to continue the description of the beasty - it's actually in pretty nice 
shape physically - and it plays the preset load just fine - speaking of 
preset load, this thing was loaded via audio cassette like the old Korg Poly 
800's (and others) - I have a load file on an audio CD that loads it just 
fine - just plug the headphone out of your CD player into the cassette output 
jack of the DX to load it.  (I've done it many times!)
The funky switch thing just makes it difficult to program...
