I thought I had read somewhere that Roland was doing this, but wasn't sure. Do you have a link handy? One of my correspondents on the manuals issue offered to fill me in on what the attitude of the various companies was with regard to copying and such, but when I accepted his offer he never did get around to getting back to me. I'm going to have to take a look at how those PDFs compare with the stuff on paper. I am having some difficulty envisioning how they'd deal with some of those bigger fold-out diagrams. One correspondent wrote to me of having a schematic split across four pages in the electronic version of something they'd downloaded, making it awkward to work with. A really big graphic file that you could scroll around might work, I suppose. -- Member of the toughest, meanest, deadliest, most unrelenting -- and ablest -- form of life in this section of space, a critter that can be killed but can't be tamed. --Robert A.
