I just picked up a Viscount VS-20 Intercontinental keyboard (not exactly a sythn, but it wails with the best of them.)
Would anyone have ANY documentation on this puppy, ;user manual, service manual, specs, whatever?
I am in the USA.
Thanx in advance, all

Subject: [vintagesynthrepair] Is it possible to repair broken tracks on a contact strip?
I've determined that the dead keys on my D-5 are caused by breaks in
two of the tracks in the keyboard contact strip - one of which is
several millimetres across due to something corrosive being spilt on
it. The contact strip isn't available as a spare part any more, nor
is an entire keyboard.
Is there any way to bridge these tracks? My first thought was
conductive pens but the tracks don't seem to be right on the surface
but rather encased under a thin plastic layer.
Failing that - does anybody have a fully working D-5 contact strip
they'd be willing to ship to Australia?
Thanks,
Lindsay
