Dear ichbinladin and list , the Yamaha CS5 uses hert/volt rather than volts/octave so you need to get a midi to cv unit that can manage this . there is a diy unit [ but not herts/volt ] at http://www.modulus.wavesynth.com/ you might want to look at the Diy list http://dropmix.xs4all.nl/synth-diy/ regards Peter
