If its like the K2000 you will find a number of section of rubber bubbles with carbon inside that bridge two carbons on the pcb. There are a number of nubs or pins, some small end ones are bigger that push through holes in the pcb. It it loose it wont make contact. They go on in A SPECIFIC ORDER SO I'D PHOT IT BEFORE DISSASEMBLY OR MARK IT. If the rubber is sound it could be contacts, cleaned with a hrd grey eraser (not the dumb pink ones). If it's the contact in the bubble you might want to use one of those $15 repaint kits. I use a straightened paperclip to push those pins back into the board. I have had mixed results with repairs but the one that worked was to buy a used assembly and take a high or low octave (less use) especially if its around your middle c that is not working. Those grey bubble strips have to go back exactly, one pin up and you will have to pull it all apart again. So look carefully as you disassemble. I think it's a fatar keyboard. Most are. I have one that has a few keys that do not trigger on/off. The synth will produce those sound internally (via Midi) and the keyboard is sending out MIDI aftertouch on those keys, but not on/off at any velocity. This started with one key, then that key came back to life. Then it went out a week later, now 2-3 more keys. I have a suspicion it's dirt/dust/grit, but before I rip the thing apart, I want to talk to someone who has pulled the hood off. I took apart a couple old analog synths, but want to get some advice before opening this beast. Any and all comments appreciated.
