I have considered the disassemble approach as I recently repaired the VCF by replacing the Tantalum Caps the LM301A, however, the slider assembly has those fold over tabs that hold it together. How flexible are the fold over tabs and what are the chances of breaking on off? Provided I do disassemble the slider what would be the preferred solution for cleaning the shaft and the film? Thanks again, Ethan
