Re: Linn Drum Transformer

Hi V,

I don't think all sythesizers have keyboards :o)
I did a quick search and found the following :-
"The 241-8-1737 is a custom unit, a modified version of our DMT-8-15
It Incorporates a dual 115V/230V 50/60Hz primary terminals across, 1-2 &
4-5.
There two output windings across pins 6-7 and 8-9-10.
6-7 8V/5.5A
8-9-10 = 36Vct/1A"
Digikey have the DMT-8-15, but this has a 5V windin instead of an 8V one.
If Linn are trying to get 5Vdc then it might work, but it looks a little
short on current rating.
There is a datasheet on the Digikey site.
Best of luck

Paul
