Re: [vintagesynthrepair] Legend by Estey

I have had the back off but cannot see how to remove the Circuit Boards that are situated under the Keyboards. I am not sure what or how these are held in. I would like to start with the ram battery first, I can see them but not get at them.

If factory reset didn't help, maybe it's time to open the instrument and do usual stuff - check and clean all connectors, reseat IC's in sockets, check PSU if voltages are as they should be. Don't forget to check fuse(s)...

Then try reset once more.

It looks like there's some garbage in the memory, maybe leaving the machine without RAM battery (I'd suppose there's some) through the night can clean it. Then change RAM battery for new one.

If it doesn't help, maybe there's a time for recapping PSU... and more deep checking...

Hi all
I am really new to this group, we have a Legend by Estey, sold by Fletcher Music of Florida.
This machine is not working, we have tried all the factory reset codes, make no difference
Please see attached error code.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ray
