AAGH! I think my DW8000 fried itself!

2003-01-12 by Timothy Hansen <nationwideclyde@hotmail.

Switched my trusty Korg DW8000 on tonight (purchased for $90 on eBay
several months ago) to show off a few new patches and was greeted by
a bunch of flickering LED's and then dead. Switched it off and on,
got an "ur EF" message, switched it on again, flashing LED's, on
again, "ur EF" message, and now, nothing. Nothing at all, totally
dead. Unplugged power supply cord from both ends, retried
everything, just dead dead dead.

What could this be? Bad power supply? Dead internal battery? Are
my patches toast? (Which would SUCK...I *LOVE* this rig and had some
very, very cool stuff on it.)

If it's FUBAR, I'll certainly replace it...but man, this is the LAST
thing I need this week.
