LFO Pot Question
2003-09-11 by Mike Walters
In comparing my Moog Prodigy and my Arp, I like the response of the Arp's LFO better. Not really because the control is on a slider, it just feels like it gradually gets into the modulation more naturally. The Moog doesn't have that natural feel. I'm also not sure if the LFO pot in the Moog is original. So, does the Arp use a logarithmic pot, and the Moog use linear? That's really exactly how it feels. If this is the case, can't I make the Moog pot logarithmic by bridging the center and first (or third) lug with a resistor? Thanks, -Mike Walters www.mysterycircuits.com
