vintage synth repair in Chicago

2007-04-16 by sinkoenator

Hi, I live in Chicago and cant find anyone in the area to work on my
Sequential Circuits Prophet 5. I may have to send it to California
for Wine Country to work on it, but I'd rather not. Does anybody have
any suggestions. I'm willing to drive some.

Andy

If you are going to send it somewhere send it to Greg at
analogsynthservice.com. He'll do a better job a cost you a lot less
than WC.

Is Minstrel Music a good option? I once heard that they're good with
electronics.

have you tried Deltronics? I think it depends on what kind of work you
need supposedly they're good but i'm not sure, they basically refused
to service my korg polysix deeming it a "project"

Deltronics on Halsted. If they can't fix it, try Midwest Music Menders.
