service manuals

2008-03-07 by Roy J. Tellason

I got a hold of some service manuals today:

http://mysite.verizon.net/rtellason/manuals.jpg :-)

I'm going to be sorting things out and building a list to put on a web page,
but if there's something you need urgently, feel free to drop me a line and
I'll see if I can find it in the mess...

Well, there's a file cabinet yet to go, a couple of drawers of it are full
of my stuff, dunno what's in the other drawers yet, but we couldn't fit it
in this trip.

I've already started to rearrange it some, trying to get it into some kind of
order. One division is stuff that I knew I had vs. stuff that just got added
to what I was taking, which includes a fair amount. I've got lots of
sorting to do...

I don't recall ever hearing of that model, is there a model number besides
that? Most of this stuff I have goes pretty far back, as we closed the shop
up in April of 1992.

I'll have to look. The BX3 doesn't sound familiar offhand but the M1 does.
So far I haven't encountered all that much Korg stuff in the pile, it may be
yet to get here, still in the file cabinet.

I'll contact you offlist if either or both of those turn up.

tr-808 start/stop button

2008-03-09 by Philip

Anyone know where to source these? They are alps, it
says so on the bottom. They are different to the 16
coloured switches...One is the start/stop the other is
the tap button. I wasn the electrical tactile switches
not the button top.

Phil.

I remember working on a bunch of that stuf *way* back when, before I left
NYC, but I don't recall whether I had any schematics or other info on them
or not. I'll keep a copy of your message on hand, in case I run across any,
though.
