JP-8000 owners???

I got a "new" JP-8000 recently. I had to change out the battery. I noticed that the main outputs are very, very low. The headphones are fine and plenty loud. I'm going to mod the mains to tap off the headphone out. Just wondering if anyone did this before. It looks to be a pretty simple mod. Aron
