EML 301 excellent w/ schematics and new hard flight case $1000

Arp 2600...AS NEW! Recently refurbed/recovered...AWESOME w/all REAL
docs & custom cables! $3500

Arp Sequencer killer...$1000w/new flight case ( no charge for the
stickers :)

2- Minimoogs....
One is beautiful looking/sounds great BUT has a sucky (READ:DEAD)
keyboard. (use a cv/midi converter...no big woop...I'll throw in the
PhilipRees converter!)
The other one is ugly and sounds/plays great! $1600each w/copies of
docs...
Take yer pick!

Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 very good condition w/1 goofy bypassed
mod and some ....urghh...tape goo! But...it has a REAL manual/repair
guide....
so it'll be $1350

Also... new(er) stuff...all great shape:
Doepfer MAQ 16/3 sequencer $550 w/manual
Novation Bass Station $350 w/manual
Nord Lead 2 kbd $875w/manual
Kurweil K2000 kbd $750 w/K2500 manual....dohhh..
Yamaha CS2X $325 w/manual

Thanks

First, congrats on the Modular Moog purchase. Hopefully your need
for a local tech that knows Moogs isn't for anything other than the
standard clean and calibrate and power supply issues.

I would think that a vintage synth repair list would be a poor choice
of venue for selling gear at eBay++ prices. Especially since folks
here picked up similar gear either broken or damaged in some way and
then got it back up and running for a lot less. We don't need a price
or for sale flame war on here (plenty of that on newsgroups and other
mailing lists), but $1000 for an EML-301? If you find a buyer at
even half that price let me know and I'll sell mine. Similar issues
with the ARP sequencer, Prophet 5, etc. I'd do a bit more research on
prepal.com, harmony central, and eBay and possible readjust the prices.

just two cents from someone that hasn't had enough coffee yet this
morning.

Ebay++ prices? Find a VCS3 for ANY price. The Arp is literally brand
new. Minimoogs have gone through the roof and mine are priced no
higher than most. The Prophet 5 is reasonably priced.

Well good. Happy for all of them.

Was that the first salvo???? Yeah.....$1k for the EML 301 in excellent
shape with a brand new flight case. You should sell yours.

Adjust MY prices? Why, thank you, sir.

I'd say next time...have the coffe first.

Y'know....I'll price 'em however the hell I wish and sell 'em or not
sell 'em if they're priced too high.

When VCS3's are going for $5600 in Japan and Europe how is $4300 too
steep? Should I not be able to take advantage of current pricing
because YOU say otherwise??? Shoot...some fool just paid $800 usd for
an Arp string ensemble. I'm hoping that same fool will buy a couple of
these horrifically priced synths.

IMHO....anyone who bitches in an open forum about someone else's
prices really rubs me the wrong way. Then again, I haven't been a
member of this group long enough to know the whiners from the real
cats....or long enough to tell you to go....

Why would anybody pay that for a
VCS3 when you buy one new from EMS
for roughly $2,800 USD?

You're right, Ethan. Anyone wanting a VCS3 should go ahead and order
one from Robin at EMS. Lemme know when you get it! I will most likely
be too old to care or dead....there are NONE available at EMS. And
there will be none. THEY ARE NOT MAKING THEM ANYMORE...they are
'finding' and 'reconditioning' them. THEY ARE NOT MAKING THEM
'FROM SCRATCH".

Fellas...if you think my prices are steep...don't buy them.

Like I said....order one. RObin just fixed my AKS and they are NOT
manufacturing VCS3's or AKS's anymore. Email him for yourself, sport!
