Hi Bill, Nice to see your back. Actually, Rex and I laugh about how Serge and Doepfer created the "illusion of a marketplace" that we subsequently bought into. In a GOOD year, the entire modular marketplace doesn't contain enough funds to run a single traditional business. We are all "amateurs" in the sense of "doing it for love". I didn't mean to take any credit away from Rex or Dieter. I just mentioned the "Third Wave" guys because we all appeared around the same time. Rex and Dieter got going in the early 90's. The next wave happened in 1998-99. --- In wiardgroup@yahoogroups.com, Bill Sequeira <bill@a...> wrote: > > Interesting...I had a STS Serge system before any of these modules > were commercially available - think STS had a lot to do with your > being able to participate in the marketplace as well. > > > Regards, > > Bill > __________________________________________ > Bill Sequeira, PHD - Principal > > > > > On Dec 11, 2005, at 5:52 AM, wiardgroup@yahoogroups.com wrote: > > > Date: Sat, 10 Dec 2005 16:44:39 -0000 > > From: "grantrichter2001" <grichter@a...> > > Subject: Re: Frac Rac Zeroscillator > > > > [...8<...] > > Paul Schrieber, Bruce Duncan and myself worked our a*s's off for > > year to > > establish the modular market place as a safe place to do business. > > (after the Don Martin debacle) > > > > Our hard work provided the marketplace for amateurs to join. > > But certain persons have taken the customers money and not > > delivered for YEARS, > > because they had a defective business plan to begin with. >
