Interesting...I had a STS Serge system before any of these modules
were commercially available - think STS had a lot to do with your
being able to participate in the marketplace as well.

Bill

Hi Bill,

Nice to see your back.

Actually, Rex and I laugh about how Serge and Doepfer created the "illusion of a
marketplace" that we subsequently bought into. In a GOOD year, the entire modular
marketplace doesn't contain enough funds to run a single traditional business. We are all
"amateurs" in the sense of "doing it for love".

I didn't mean to take any credit away from Rex or Dieter. I just mentioned the "Third Wave"
guys because we all appeared around the same time.

Rex and Dieter got going in the early 90's. The next wave happened in 1998-99.

Back...

2005-12-12 by William Sequeira

Yeah, good to talk to you too!

We finally moved to Victoria BC - I hesitate to call it Canada because it really is below the
north delimiting line, but...here we are.

We are expecting our first baby mid-Jan - one major reason why I have been offline.

How are you doing?

No worries re: the post - trying to throw gasoline on the fire as usual. ;-)
