Hi Pierre
just a thought...
Grant was generous enough to post the schematics for the wogglebug
circuit on musicsynthesizer.com.
http://www.musicsynthesizer.com/WoggleBug/WoggleBug.html
(the schematic is under this hypertext link:)
Download Schematic Diagram of the #3 Standard WoggleBug (911K)
Even if he decides to redo the Wbug in SMT and scale it down to a
single circuit for the 1200 series, it's a certainty that it will not
happen soon or quickly. If you are handy with a soldering iron (or can
access someone with a modest portion of DIY skills) the Wbug #3
circuit can be assembled at an unhurried pace in a weekend with time
leftover for couple of nice dinners!
Then if Grant does decide to release a 1200 series Wbug you could
still buy one and have a good equivalent of the 300-series dual Wbug.
I know that other list members beside myself have built them
(Romeo, for one...if memory serves...).
At least part of Grant's intention in posting the schematic was to
educate and inform hobbyists (like myself) in how simple such a deeply
chaotic system can be. If nothing else, take a look at the diagrams.
They're amazing in their elegance considering the complexity of the
output.
The Wbug#3 circuit is also a great 'basic recipe' core design for
experimentation.
Carpe uhhhhhhhh hmmmmmmmmmmmm....(let's see what would the word be?)
Carpe ......soldering iron... i guess!!

PS:
i know in my heart that Dave Vosh will build one someday
