Hmmmm, some people would describe MP3s as "metallic sounding with not much bottom end". Also computer speakers are usually bad. I'll put the Boogie Filter up against any filter ever made for "phatness". It blows away a transistor ladder. It is a modular synthesizer, the sound is only as good as your patching skills. One trick to know: Most filters will reduce the fundamental with increased resonance. Just take the sine wave from the VCO and add it back into the signal after the filter.
